California

So last week we went to California to relax and have some fun. Jeremy served his mission in Carlsbad so while we were there we drove around in his mission, went to the beach, visited Seaworld, saw the temple and had a great time! Some areas of his mission were Del Mar, Laguna and Oceanside. Needless to say it was beautiful and a lot of fun.

At Seaworld they have something called Breakfast with Elmo. Ryan had so much fun. You get to have breakfast and meet the cast of Sesame Street, Ryan's favorite. They come around and you can take pictures with all of them. Ryan loved them from afar but as soon as they would come close she would hold onto me with a death grip. This is a picture of Zoe.
Ryan and Jeremy at Seaworld watching the pink flamingos and ducks.
Ryan posing as a penguin, I don't know why I didn't get the whole body of the penguin in the picture. I'll have to work on my camera skills.
San Diego temple. It is so beautiful.
After our California retreat we headed to Kingman where Jeremy's family lives and one of the days we went up to the Hualapai mountains. It was really nice except for a little bit of rain that fell while we were there. We had a nice picnic and relaxed.
So this is COLIMAS. Jeremy used to eat there sometimes. It's in Oceanside, a block from the beach. The food was pretty good.
This is the beach a little ways from Colimas. It's in Oceanside. Of course the water was freezing.
In Laguna Beach they had a little play area right on the beach so Ryan got to have a little fun.
We both did!

Your daughter is just so dang cute! Breakfast with Elmo looks like fun for any kid that likes that stuff. I love California weather, it's much cooler than here.

This looks so relaxing! I'm not sure I would do so well on a mission next to the beach! You married a good man!

Fun times! I would love to visit Mexico sometime where Brad served his mission. San Diego is so nice. The Sesame Street thing at Sea World looks cool. Dominic would love that! (Although he would probably freak out with the characters getting too close too.)

Ryan is getting so big and cute. I love her little outfits you always have her in. That sounded like a fun trip.

Hey girl, your little girl is so cute! Your trip sounded so fun too! Jaron is from Yorba Linda, which is by Anaheim so I know how fun California can be! I can't believe how much your family has grown. Your nieces and nephews are so cute and grown up! Hey I was wondering if you were still making flowers that clip into headbands. I can't seem to find any I like. Let me know! :)

Britney, Hey I still make them whenever I need one for Ryan. Do you want me to make you one? If so I just need to know what color and if you want a rhinestone or a pearl in the middle.

Melissa,
That is great! Do you have any already made that I can just look at? I would love like red, blue, purple, and another white. I'm really pretty open, I just want a variety. I like them about 3 inches wide if that is alright. Lexi kinda has a small head so the huge flowers just look silly. Also how much do you charge? Just let me know. You can email me at britneyrime@gmail.com if it's easier than responding on my blog. Thanks!

We've been thinking about taking a trip to So. Cal. and either doing Sea World or Lego Land.... breakfast with Elmo would be a pretty exciting event! I didn't realize you make those head bands. If this next one is a girl I may get some from you, they're so cute!

I never really got to ask you about your trip, but it looks like a good time. I know it was much needed after the last few months. We should get together soon!
