Lunch with friends

So Amy, Jill, Emily and I went to lunch today, it was a lot of fun. We were able to catch up and reminisce about old times, some of which were dye jobs and haircuts gone wrong, cheating and getting caught (I won't mention who), old boyfriends, having babies and the hedge. We also had a slight math lesson at the end when waitress wanted us to figure out our own bills, it was hilarious. So we thought it would be fun to do it again around the Holidays when some of our other former classmates are in town. So if any of you old friends are interested in going out to eat let me know because we're going to plan it for November or December. Anyway, today was great, girls I had a blast.

So Amy is, I think, 6 and 1/2 months along and she looks great! I think I looked like this when I was about 2 1/2 months pregnant.

So Jill took over the camera and started taking pictures of herself and everyone else! Her camera skills are questionable but we love her none the less.

Multitasking

So today Ryan learned how to multitask. She was brushing her teeth, watching t.v. and pushing her popper all at the same time, so talented. Actually, the only reason she had her tooth brush was because every time I brush them she throws a fit so when I'm done she gets to hold it and everyone is happy, the t.v. was on because I had to distract her while I got dressed and did dishes and the popper, well that's one of the only toys she likes at the moment even though she has plenty. So even though she wasn't really multitasking she sure looked cute trying.

MS. SKINNER

So how many of you remember Ms. Skinner? Well, I do and I've run into her TWICE now at Costco. I don't know if she remembers me but I sure do remember her. Two memorable things happened in her class when I was in high school. Some of you may remember Chrissy Boyle's party where we went over to the park and played hide and seek and upon Sara Sorensen Patchett and I chasing the same hider we ran smack into each other. Sara suffered two slightly black eyes, a swollen nose and some damage to her two front teeth and I had a big black eye. It's actually really funny now but it sure did hurt then and I was embarassed to go to school the next day. Anyway, the next day Ms. Skinner pulled me out of class and asked if everything at home was ok. I know she was just being a good teacher but I couldn't believe that she thought maybe my parents caused the black eye, it was so awkward! That was the first memorable thing. The second was one day I was sitting in her class and the door to the hall was open. I guess I wasn't paying attention to the lesson because I noticed that there was a kid outside in the hall trying to get my attention. When he finally had it I realized he was making a gesture like his hair was exploding while at the same time saying POOF! I realized he was making fun of my curly hair which was pretty big. I was mortified. Anyway, these things are really of no importance but when I saw Ms. Skinner I got to thinking about them and I wondered if any of you have anything you remember about her or her class. Good times but I wouldn't want to go back!!

Williams Camping Trip

So over Labor Day weekend we went camping with the Cooley's. It was fun to be with family especially because we don't get to see some of Jeremy's siblings as often as we would like. We rode the quads, which Ryan was not very fond of, ate lots of yummy food and took in some beautiful scenery. It rained every day which was actually kind of nice but unfortunately it brought out the Mosquitos! I think I made it out of there with only 30 or so bites but Jeremy did not fare as well. His whole leg is covered and I mean covered in bites. Other than that it was a good time. I've decided that I'm slightly a control freak. I should have known that Ryan was going to get dirty being in the mountains and all but I was surprised at how dirty she got. After the 3rd time of her throwing dirt in her hair and about the 20th time washing her hands because they were covered in mud or dirt I decided to just let it go. Anyway, dirt and all we had great time and sorry there aren't more pictures but of course my camera ran out of batteries the first day!
This is my brother Shaun and his wife Carilynn and their son Jackson. They just found out that they are expecting their second child around April. I'm so excited for them.

This picture sums up the quad rides! I think they thought we were going to take them on a ride but we were just trying to take their picture. From left to right it's Jeremy's brother Rex's little boy Isaac, Jackson and Ryan. Like I said before I wish I could have taken more pictures but my camera died.
