Okay, so I'm looking for a really good sugar cookie recipe to make valentine's cookies with. I haven't had much luck with mine so hopefully someone knows of a mouth watering, moist and dense, sweet and chewy, delicious recipe that won't end up flat as a pancake! If you have one or know of where I can go online to get one let me know. I'll post the recipe I end up using and I'm willing to try out a couple so send them my way.

I have hands down THE BEST sugar cookie recipe. It is also very forgiving {most sugar cookies are not}. It is moist and delicious every time and NEVER flat. I have to run my girls to ballet now, but I will get it to you. It has sour cream in it, I think that's the secret ingredient!
I have a good one too, it has sour cream in it as well... I will e-mail it to you. It may be the same as Tera's. I actually got the recipe from Amy Pendelton.
Thanks girls!
I have thee best recipe!!!
2 cups of sugar
2 cubes of softened butter
3 eggs
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of baking soda
4 tsp of baking powder
1 cup of sour cream
4.5 cups of flour
1 tsp of vanilla
mix the dough (it will be sticky) and let it chill overnight. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters and bake at 350 fo 8-10 mins. Frost with buttercream frosting! YUM
Honestly these never turn crunchy or hard. they are soft and fluffy and literally melt in your mouth. If you need a frosting recipe just use the one off the back of the powdered sugar bag. its the best. Let me know if you make them!
I have a really easy and good recipe if you want it. email me your email address and I will send it over. Nipper131@aol.com they come out soft and fluffy.
I agree with Tara, I think sour cream is the secret ingredient. I use my Grandma's recipe which asks for sour cream as well but is a little different than the Walkers. Let me know if you want it as well. See ya Bunco and could I possibly catch a ride with you?
